Mr. Michael Sullivan
Former IRS Agent, Teaching Instructor, Fox, and ABC News Contributor
Michael D. Sullivan, the founder of MD Sullivan Tax Group, has a storied career marked by a decade of exemplary service with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As a seasoned IRS Revenue Officer/Agent, he specialized in Offer in Compromise Tax cases and managed large dollar-value matters. His collaboration with the U.S. Attorney’s office on covert operations further distinguished his role. This outstanding service earned him numerous accolades.
In addition to his fieldwork, Michael was a Certified Tax Instructor at the IRS. Stationed at the Atlanta Regional Training Offices, he also instructed at local and district offices. His significant contribution was in training budding IRS Agents, particularly in the Offer in Compromise Program.
Post his IRS tenure, Michael transitioned to private practice. For an impressive 40 years, he has been at the forefront of consulting on IRS Audit and Collection tax resolution issues, representing both high-net-worth individuals and major corporations.
His commitment to the tax profession doesn’t end there. Michael is a known figure in the South Florida tax circuit, often invited as a speaker. He has held esteemed positions as an officer and board member of the Greater South Florida Tax Council. Furthermore, he has been a host and moderator for various IRS forums across public and professional platforms.
His digital presence is also noteworthy. Michael administers a Facebook Group named “IRS Representation, HELPFUL TAX TIPS TO SOLVE IRS PROBLEMS,” which has a growing community of 4100 members. His YouTube Channel, “@HELP FROM A FORMER IRS AGENT,” boasts over 7,000 subscribers and 300,000 watch hours.
Not stopping there, Michael founded the TAX MOB GROUP, a collective of over 300 tax professionals specializing in Tax resolution services.
